Door-to-Door Service

At Angelo’s Event Hire, we provide a reliable door-to-door delivery and collection service, Choose between Morning (8:00 am – 1:00 pm) or Afternoon (1:00 pm – 6:00 pm) time slot for your convenience. A dedicated 1-hour delivery slot — ideal for venues with limited access can be request at the time of booking, (Extra charge may apply)

Please ensure that a responsible person is available to receive and sign for your items upon delivery. While we cannot always guarantee exact times, we’ll do our best to accommodate requests and can notify you when the driver is approximately 30 minutes away.

Deliveries and collections outside our normal working hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm) are available by prior agreement only, and additional charges will apply.

All hire equipment must be repacked as delivered, ready for collection. If items are not repacked correctly, a repacking fee may apply. Please note that our drivers are not authorised to count goods on site.

If any items are missing, broken, or damaged, please contact our office within 2 hours of delivery so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Delivery & Collection Charges

Our delivery and collection charges vary depending on distance from our depot and site accessibility. Standard rates are based on a single driver delivering to a ground-floor, flat-terrain, door-to-door location.

If your venue includes stairs, long carrying distances, uneven ground, or requires two staff members, please inform us in advance so a revised quote can be issued.

Please note: Additional charges may apply if delivery or access details are not confirmed at the time of booking.

 

Collection of Hire Equipment

 

Unless otherwise agreed, all hire items must be packed and ready for collection from 8:00 am on the day specified in your order confirmation.

If you are returning equipment to us, this should be done on the designated and pre-agreed return day and time (usually between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm). Many of our products are re-hired the same or next day, so prompt return is essential to maintain our service standards.

 

Self-Collection & Return

You are welcome to collect and return hire equipment directly from our Fenlake Road Industrial Est depot at a Pre-agreed Time and day.

Please ensure you bring a suitable vehicle and equipment to transport items safely. As a guide:

• Glass crates: approx. 60 cm × 40 cm

• China boxes: approx. 48cm x 39cm x 31cm or 40 cm × 30 cm × 32 cm

Protective blankets or padding are strongly recommended to prevent damage during transport.
